Operation Snowmageddon

Before discussing the prayer campaign that we call “Operation Snowmageddon,” I must account for the events of February 21 as promised at the end of the previous FFI.

I had mentioned how the 7th type in the story of Elisha was a two-part type that was to be fulfilled January 27 and February 21, according to pattern dates seen back in 2001. This was in regard to the staff, or Aaron’s rod that bore fruit. At the time of writing, we had passed the date of January 27 but not February 21.

“Recently, I came across a website of Ezekiel's walking stick. This man makes staves that are out of two pieces of wood, according to Ezekiel 37. The moment I saw it, I knew I was to obtain one. I obtained one out of ash wood, which is the Spanish name for Fresno. I also found that ash is in the family of the olive tree. I had faith that it would arrive before the 21st of February. I believe a series of miracles enabled me to receive the staff on Saturday the 20th at 12:00 noon.”

“You know more than I do about the significance of this staff being taught and shared on Feb. 21st at our gathering. I saw that this was bringing together the year 1986 with 2010. I also saw that this was transferring the true authority from the apostolic work of the Latter Rain to the true apostolic work of the Two Witnesses.

“I really believe that in representation of these Two Witnesses, by extension of Elijah to Elisha, that this staff is the representation of Elisha's staff. I also see that being it is one piece out of two pieces of wood, that it is in effect the staff of both of the witnesses in one. I sense an apostolic work is now legal to be ministered that has to do with the feast of Tabernacles, that goes beyond the apostolic work of the Latter Rain. . . .” [end]

I have noticed that the events expected in 2010 seem to have been occurring a day early from previous patterns. The Jan. 27 “resurrection” date was marked primarily by the Polish beekeeper named Josef, who came back from the dead on January 26. (It was reported on the 27th.)

Then the pastor from California received the Ezekiel staff at noon on Feb. 20, and presented it to his group on the 21st. The pattern from 2001 suggested that the time to watch was at noon on Feb. 21st, so it is curious that the staff arrived at noon a day early.

The next watch date was Feb. 28, because it correlated with the earthquake that struck Federal Way, WA in 2001 on that date, cracking the capitol dome in Olympia, WA. Instead, we saw the earthquake hit Chile on Feb. 27, which again is a day earlier than expected.

The next watch date was to be on March 9, correlating with the next prayer battle in 2001 on that date against the Prince of Usury. Once again, we saw this fulfilled a day early on March 8, 2010, as I will explain shortly.

The San Jose “Joseph” Conference

Our Joseph conference went very well, with over 100 in attendance over the week end. In just one meeting we counted 98 people. So it was well attended, and it was good to see old friends and to make some new friends, too.

We will be posting the videos on my website shortly.

Crossing the Rubicon

On the Monday after the conference (March 8) we were led to go to the Rubicon River southeast of Sacramento, where we symbolically “crossed the Rubicon.” This was the start of our latest prayer campaign called Operation Snowmageddon.

Some background: There is a small river in northern Italy called the Rubicon. Julius Caesar famously crossed this river in 49 B.C. without permission from the Roman senate. When he did so, he said, “the die is cast,” knowing that he either had to take Rome or face execution.

The Rubicon was his “point of no return,” and so the modern expression, “crossing the Rubicon” is often used to mean that we have reached the point of no return.

History shows that Julius Caesar succeeded in taking Rome, and he ruled until he was assassinated a few years later. The point is that he crossed the Rubicon in 49 B.C., an interesting “Jubilee” number. The California Rubicon is just off Hwy. 49. In fact, there is also a Rubicon in Wisconsin which is just off Hwy. 49 there as well.

A group of us (7 men and 3 women) went to the Rubicon in California on Monday, March 8, establishing “the point of no return” in regard to the present prayer campaign called “Operation Snowmageddon.” This began the countdown toward the conference in Manassas, VA that is to be held on April 2-4, 2010. Manassas is just outside the beltway around Washington D.C., so we consider it to be part of Washington D.C.

Washington D.C. is built on land originally called “Rome” by its owners. The title deed to that land is located today in the Maryland State Archives. According to David Ovason’s book, The Secret Architecture of Our Nation’s Capital, pp. 8, 9,

“The deed, dated June 5, 1663, is in the name of Francis Pope, and sets out the basis for a survey and granting of a strip of land called Rome, bounded by the inlet called Tiber.”

So there is a connection between Washington and Rome that goes back to the 1600’s and identifies our nation’s capital as “Rome.”

Our present prayer campaign is thus connected to the story of Julius Caesar who crossed the Rubicon in 49 B.C. to take Rome. Essentially, we are doing the same from a spiritual perspective. Operation Snowmageddon is our time to “take Rome” for the kingdom of God in a very positive manner.

Snow is a biblical symbol of spiritual warfare and of revelation, as we learn from Job 38:22, 23,

22 Have you entered the storehouses of the SNOW, or have you seen the storehouses of the HAIL, 23 which I have reserved for the time of distress, for the day of war and battle?

Washington has been pounded by record snowfall this past winter, named Snowmageddon by the President himself. We knew that this indicated that revelation of truth was soon coming to our government, but we did not know that it foreshadowed our present prayer campaign.

At October’s Tabernacles conference in Sweetwater, Ron shared his revelation about “Crossing the Rubicon.” This proved to be the earliest revelation of its kind, which spoke of this spiritual warfare. Ron had forgotten that there was a Rubicon River in northern California until someone reminded him of that fact.

Then, of course, while all the snowstorms were hitting Washington D.C., we were planning our conference in San Jose, CA. Since Ron was to be one of the speakers, we realized that we were to cross the Rubicon to begin our trip back to Minnesota (and ultimately to Manassas).

That is how we were finally able to piece these revelations and signs together. The flow of revelation has taken place over a period of many months, leading us to Operation Snowmageddon.

The Apostle Paul’s Trip to Rome

In Acts 27 and 28 we are told the story of Paul’s fourth missionary journey which began with his trip to Rome. The ship ran into a storm and wrecked off the coast of Malta (or Melita). No one was killed in this wreck, but they had to spend some time there until they were able to book passage on another ship called in the KJV, “Castor and Pollux.” The NASB calls them “the Twin Brothers.”

The Greek word used in Acts 28:11 is Dioskouroi. The Wikipedia under “Castor and Pollux” reads this way:

Castor and Pollux . . . are known collectively in Greek as the Dioskouroi or Dioscuri (???s??????), "sons of Zeus", and in Latin as the Gemini ("twins") or Castores.

Castor and Pollux are twin stars in the heavens. They were considered to be the patron saints that protected travelers and sailors. That is probably why the ship was named for these twins.

So the final part of Paul’s journey (by sea) to Rome was taken on the ship known as The Twins. Our own trip to the American “Rome” is likewise being taken in two parts. The first part of the trip went from California to Minnesota (more specifically, to St. Paul and Minneapolis, the “Twin Cities”). From the Twin Cities, we will be making our final journey to “Rome,” which is a prophetic parallel to St. Paul’s trip to Rome on the ship called The Twins.

For this reason, we understand that the prayer campaign is not only patterned after Julius Caesar’s conquest of Rome when he crossed the Rubicon, but we must also take into account the pattern of the Apostle Paul and his trip to Rome.

We are not in the military like Caesar was, but we are indeed engaging in spiritual warfare. Secondly, we are going to “Rome” to bear witness of the Gospel of the Kingdom in the heart of the Roman Empire.

Paul met with Jewish leaders in Rome as well. A few of them believed the Gospel, but apparently most of them did not. Paul then said in Acts 28:25,

25 The Holy Spirit rightly spoke through Isaiah the prophet to your fathers, 26 saying, “Go to this people and say, ‘You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; and you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive; 27 for the heart of this people has become dull, and with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and believe, and I should heal them’.”

Paul’s final words in the book of Acts come in verse 28,

28 Let it be known to you, therefore, that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles [ethnos]; they will also listen.

Probably the most important theme in the book of Acts, which is repeated over and over again, is how the old order of Judaism rejected the New Covenant and its Mediator. After being given the first opportunity to hear the Gospel of the Kingdom, it went to the ethnos, people of other ethnicities (nationalities), who would receive it with gladness.

In this light, it appears that Operation Snowmageddon speaks into this revelation as well. It is yet unclear how to apply the prophecy this time around, but there are some possibilities:

First, it may indicate that the Zionists in D.C. continue to reject the Gospel of the Kingdom, and so it will go to President Obama and/or other ethnicities that will accept the Gospel.

An alternate view is that the President and government itself will reject the Gospel of the Kingdom, resulting in the Word going out into other nations. If so, I hope that we do not have to wait for another “two full years” (Acts 28:30) before we are released to do this work. But if we do have to wait that long, I know that God has more work for us to do, perhaps even among our government officials in our American Rome.

We must take note that God delayed the Apostle Paul for FIVE YEARS in all. Paul had gone to Jerusalem for the feast of Pentecost in 58 A.D., intending to go to Rome soon afterward. But he had been arrested at the feast, and he had remained in Judea until his trip to Rome in October of 60 (arriving in the Spring of 61). He then spent two full years in Rome, being released finally in the year 63.

In my book, Lessons from Church History, Vol. 1, I show how Paul first preached in Spain and then in Britain before returning by land through Switzerland and Macedonia. He was eventually arrested again and brought back to Rome for execution in 66 A.D.

What is perhaps relevant to us today is the fact that Paul completed his calling “far hence unto the Gentiles” after his release from Rome. I have had a long-term revelation going back many years of being sent out to foreign nations with the Gospel of the Kingdom. So I wonder if perhaps this trip to the American Rome may be a marker of time, and that this global missionary effort may yet be two years away. We will see.

The Eighth Sign of Elisha

While traveling to San Jose recently, I wondered if we might observe the fulfillment of the eighth sign of Elisha found in 2 Kings 4:38-41. It had occurred to me that the ninth sign was a Passover sign, which most likely would have to find its fulfillment at the Manassas conference being held at Passover this year. And so obviously the eighth sign would have to be fulfilled prior to Passover.

The most logical time would be during our San Jose conference in early March. When the time came, we found it fulfilled at the Rubicon River on the Monday after the conference. 2 Kings 4:38-41 says this:

38 When Elisha returned to Gilgal, there was a famine in the land. As the sons of the prophets were sitting before him, he said to his servant, “Put on the large pot and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.” 39 Then one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine and gathered from it his lap full of wild gourds and came and sliced them into the pot of stew, for they did not know what they were. 40 So they poured it out for the men to eat. And it came about as they were eating of the stew, that they cried out and said, “O man of God, there is death in the pot.” And they were unable to eat. 41 But he said, “Now bring meal.” And he threw it into the pot, and he said, “Pour it out for the people that they may eat.” Then there was no harm [Hebrew, dabar ra] in the pot.

Toward the start of our trip to San Jose, friends pointed out to us that the Hebrew word in verse 41 translated “harm” was dabar, which means “word.” It is actually two words in Hebrew: dabar ra. The word ra means “evil, or wicked.” One might call it “an evil word.”

Dabar also means “because of,” and this is how it is used in Genesis 12:17, where we read,

17 But the Lord struck Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of[dabar] Sarai, Abram’s wife.

So the expression dabar ra does mean “because of evil,” and that is why it is translated “harm” in the pot. Nonetheless, as a prophetic sign, it is a hidden picture of a harmful “death” word given to the sons of the prophets. In the story of Elisha, this dabar (word) was described as “death in the pot.”

When I learned this, I pondered how this might be fulfilled in San Jose. Certainly, it troubled me, because I did not want anyone to speak an evil word that would bring “death in the pot.”

All I knew was that the solution to the problem would involve “meal,” because Elisha put ground flour into the pot in order to make the food edible. We are not told what type of flour this was.

Gen. 18:6 speaks of “fine meal,” which is most likely wheat flour, because it is hard to grind barley into “fine” flour. But Num.5:15 speaks of “barley meal” using the same Hebrew word. So the word “meal” is generic and can apply to any kind of flour. Yet because this sign seems intricately connected to the next one, I think it is prophetically referring to barley meal, which speaks of the wave-sheaf offering and Jesus’ resurrection as the first-fruits of Unleavened Bread.

The eighth sign was NOT fulfilled at the conference itself, but the following day, Monday, March 18, when we went to the Rubicon River. The Father gave Joshua a word which was quite strange, and even embarrassing. Even so, he fully intended to follow God’s instructions to the letter. When he shared the word with the rest of us, I immediately recognized this as the “death” word that was in need of “meal” to give it life and neutralize its “harm.”

The word itself was indeed of the Father, but God’s intent was to bring about a death of the flesh in Joshua himself (as a type of Christ). The word served its purpose well, along with the “life” word that brought resurrection. I might add also that this was like Jesus (Joshua/Yeshua) going to the Jordan River for baptism. Baptism speaks of both death and resurrection.

The Ninth Sign of Elisha

We expect to see the ninth sign of Elisha in Manassas in April. We do not know yet how it will be fulfilled, but the theme in 2 Kings 4:42-44 has to do with multiplying the barley loaves to fee 100 men. This is an OT parallel to John 6, where Jesus fed the multitude with barley loaves at the Passover season (John 6:4).

Actually, it was the day of the wave-sheaf offering, because the people were not allowed to eat of the new crop of barley until the first-fruits of barley had been waved before the Lord in the temple (Lev. 23:14). This story is meant to give us greater understanding of the meaning of this particular feast day on the day after the Sabbath after Passover.

In John’s commentary on this story, found in the latter half of John 6, we learn that Jesus is the Bread of Life (6:35) and the manna in the wilderness (6:33). Breaking the barley loaves signified His death, and gathering up the remaining fragments prophesied of His resurrection. In being raised from the dead, the sum of his parts was greater than the original whole.

Every year we observe and learn what God is doing on the feast days, for these are appointed times of revelation. We always learn more details about the spiritual meaning of those feasts as we gather to seek Him and to learn of His ways. So once again, we expect to learn more at the coming Passover feast.

The interplay between the eighth and ninth signs of Elisha are interesting. Obviously, in 2 Kings 4 we can see the relationship between the two signs. They show us that one cannot celebrate the Passover (death) without having ripe barley to wave before the Lord on the third day, for death without resurrection would be disastrous.

So also is it in our experience at the present time. If we connect the Rubicon revelation to the San Jose conference, we can see that on one level, it provided us with the “death” word revelation, while the Manassas conference gives us the “life” word. The two are linked together in the same way that Passover and the wave-sheaf offering are linked.

We do not know specifically how this will manifest in Manassas, but we do know that we are to eat His flesh and drink His blood (spiritually speaking, of course), as Jesus said in John 6:51-58. He is the true Barley bread that is broken for us in order to feed the multitude. As we partake of Him, we become what we eat., for we read in verse 56, “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.” It has to do with being fed with LIFE or IMMORTALITY.

So after the San Jose conference I was given some pure barley powder, and I have been mixing it as a drink since that time. Every detail prophesies.
