Will there be another FBI investigation of Kavanaugh?

Sep 28, 2018

If the Democrats are appeased with an FBI investigation of the allegations leveled against Brett Kavanaugh, how would this help the situation? The FBI cannot prosecute anyone or even come to a conclusion. They can only question people and make memos. They still would have to refer their cases to the Justice Department and let them decide whether or not to prosecute.

Listen to the following short video clip from about the 40-second mark to hear what former Vice President Joe Biden said about FBI investigations many years ago.

The Senate committee voted along party lines 11-10 to send the Kavanaugh nomination to the full Senate. Whether or not the FBI will get involved or not is yet to be determined, but if so, it looks like it will not take more than a week to complete.

Given the denials of all four of the witnesses that Dr. Ford set forth to back up her story, it is not likely that such an investigation will amount to anything more than a continuation of the delay.
