Important Notice Regarding Recent Donations via PayPal

With the recent change to Dr. Jones' email address (see the blog post here), we have been changing the email address associated with all the different accounts we have set up so that they are using the new email address. We just recently did this with PayPal, and we were unaware of an issue that arose because of it.
One of our visitors/donors informed us that they did not receive a donation receipt, and were not redirected back to GKM after making the donation. After checking into it, we found that no donations have been going through to the GKM PayPal since Nov 26, at about 6:30 PM CST. Any donations made after this time, and before Dec 1, at about 5:00 PM CST were not received. The donation button on the site had to be remade in order to accomodate the new email address.
We want to ask everyone to please check if any donations that you made between Nov 26 and Dec 1 were actually withdrawn from your account, or if the transaction failed. If you need help with any of this, please feel free to contact us at gkmsupport.freshdesk.com and we'll help out however we can.
We apologize for the inconvenience. PayPal gave us no warning when changing the email address that this could be a possibility, so we were unaware it was even an issue until someone let us know.
Rest assured the issue is fixed now, and donations are being received correctly again. Through this process we also removed the Gift Certificate button from the donation page, because it is no longer supported by PayPal. We also removed the separate Subscription button because automatic monthly donations have been added as an option in the default Donate button. We will be re-writing the instructions on the donation page so they are updated for the new processes.
