Email Subscription and Push Notification added!

We have just finished adding the option to subscribe to email notification and/or push notifications of new Blog Posts and News Posts on GKM. They are available in the sidebar on the Daily WebLogs page, and the sidebar of any blog entry.
To subscribe to Email Notifications, you need to fill out the information under the Subscribe to Email Notifications header on the sidebar, then click subscribe. The only required field is email address. Other than that, you can include your first and/or last name for further personalization in the emails that are sent to you. When you click the subscribe button, you will be added to our list to receive an email whenever a new Blog Post or News Post is available. We may also use this service from time to time to give updates if the website is offline, or under maintenance.
If you ever want to unsubscribe from email notifications, you can go to any notification email you've received from us, and there will be an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Select the reason for unsubscribing, then click the unsubscribe button, and you won't receive any more emails from us. You can always re-subscribe via the method above.
To subscribe to Push Notifications, you need to click the Subscribe button under the Subscribe to Push Notifications header, you will be presented with a pop-up that asks you to confirm that you want to receive notifications. Once you have confirmed your subscription, as long as you have your browser open (the one that you used to subscribe) you will get a pop-up notification in the lower right whenever a new Blog Post or News Post is available.
If you want to unsubscribe from Push Notifications, go to the same place you went to subscribe, and instead of a Subscribe button, there will be a link to unsubscribe; simply clicking this link will immediately unsubscribe you. You can always re-subscribe by clicking the Subscribe button again.
Push Notifications also work on your smart phone. If you subscribe on your phone, you will receive a notification in the notifications area of your phone. To unsubscribe, you can use the same method for unsubscribing above. Alternatively, you can long press on the notification (long pressing is when you press and hold your finger), then click the settings icon, and change the notification settings from Allow to Block. This unsubscribe process may change from device to device, but you can always unsubscribe via the method above.
