Passover watch day events today

Jan 14, 2012

The Costa Concordia luxury cruise liner apparently hit something and sank off the west coast of Italy last night. It is being compared to the Titanic, another luxury liner which hit an iceberg and sank almost exactly 100 years ago.

Meanwhile, after hours yesterday, the S&P downgraded the credit ratings of many Eurozone countries. On the hit list were: France, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, Slovenia, and Malta. This included the second and third largest economies of Europe: France and Italy.

Italy has already been having trouble paying higher interest rates. This credit rating will probably lock in higher rates for some time to come and only make their problem worse.

A century ago, the sinking of the Titanic was a sign of America's overthrow by the Babylonian Banking system known as the Federal Reserve. Those financiers opposing the new system died on the Titanic, opening the way for the conquest of the Western financial system. The sinking of the Concordia seems equally odd. Surely all the reefs in those waters were located and known centuries ago, and certainly all of them would have been loaded into the ship's GPS system. And the location of the disaster--off the coast of Italy--seems to connect it to Italy this time.

We seem to be off to a good start on our Watch Dates, among which are January 14 and 15. Recall that these are a type of Passover in some way. We should get a clearer picture by Monday.
