Why Peace in Palestine is Impossible
Dec 30, 2009
Here is an article that gives some insight into the Orthodox Jewish mentality. It is the epitome of Old Covenant thought process. Christian Zionists especially ought to read this so that they know exactly what it is that they are supporting and how foreign it is to the teachings of Jesus.
Don't be fooled by Prime Minister Netanyahu's call for peace in the region. Peace talks are only a ploy to buy time and make it look like he really wants peace. The only peace he wants is one that drives out all Palestinians from their homes from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they are all dead or gone, then he wants all the surviving refugees to make peace. That way, the Israelis can steal all the land they want without suffering any consequences for their actions.
Netanyahu's recent decision to build more Jewish apartment housing in East Jerusalem is a good case in point. The news media only speaks generally of them building on property "taken by the Israelis in the 1967 war."
It is one thing to lay claim to land as a conquering nation; it is another to displace individual Palestinian families who have houses and farms on that land, and then give that land to Jews.
America has gone to war against Iraq twice for violating U.N. resolutions. But it continually allows the Israelis to violate dozens of U.N. resolutions with no sanctions. As long as America continues to fund their violation of basic human rights, they are happy to continue doing so.
As a Christian, I cannot support murder and theft, nor do I consider anyone to be "chosen" enough to have immunity from basic moral principles and laws that bind all mankind.
