Further Comment on the Change of Stars on the Flag
Jan 30, 2008
On January 23, 2008 I wrote a blog about the inverted stars on the American flag that appear to have been used of late in both of the major political parties. Because some others in the blogosphere thought it was perhaps an indication of Satanist influence, I mentioned it almost in passing toward the end of my blog. Even so, I questioned the feasibility of their doing so, since they use both forms of the star in their symbolism. So what would be the point of turning the stars upside down?
Anyway, I received a response from a Satanist as follows:
On behalf of Satanists everywhere, "It wasn't us." The government is acting alone on this one, but to what end? Besides, what would Satanists, in far fewer numbers that Christians, have to gain from suce superficial changes? I doubt any converts will be had. If anything, it would draw more people away from Satanism thorugh bad publicity. Maybe it was "you". "Executive Order of President Taft dated June 24, 1912 - established proportions of the flag and provided for arrangement of the stars in six horizontal rows of eight each, a single point of each star to be upward." http://www.usa-flag-site.org/history.shtml Again, what was wrong with the design as ordered above? Nothing.
